We celebrated National Tree Day by planting a tree in our school playground.
During Book Week, our whole school acted out an Aboriginal Legend, called "Bunjalung Dreaming", with students portraying the Great Goanna who chased the evil Snake into the ocean at Evan's Head. Everyone had great fun, especially when the snake plunged into the crepe paper sea! We invited our friends from Blaxcell St School to celebrate with us for a morning of stories and drama, and the unveiling of our the school mural that the two schools made together.
Flinders Class helped us to celebrate National Wattle Day with Aussie food, stories and a bushdance, costumes compulsory!
